CHARGE: The Special Committee on Funding Advocacy Initiatives will explore foundation, grant and corporate collaborative arrangements that will provide additional financial support for the work of the AALL Washington Affairs Office. There are numerous foundations and granting agencies that share AALL’s concerns on current information policy issues. The Task Force will report to the Executive Board on the scope of funding available for information policy advocacy, AALL’s potential for securing such funding and the required infra-structure AALL would need to raise and monitor funding from external groups in support of the Association’s advocacy efforts.

SIZE: The Task Force will consist of a chair and two members who will work closely with the Washington Affairs Office. An interim report will be submitted to the Executive Board in April 2004 and a final report submitted in July 2004.
