CHARGE:

  • To gather data on what information law librarians need for collection, budget planning and forecasting;
  • To examine some alternatives for tracking price information for legal materials in all formats
  • To recommend a methodology for an annual pricing report for legal materials
  • To assess the viability of continuing the Price Index for Legal Publications as a tool for measuring and reporting average price increases in its current form or in a completely new form
  • To recommend an existing or new AALL entity to produce an annual pricing report for legal materials
  • To report to me by November 1 so that we can include future initiatives in our next strategic plan 

SIZE: The committee shall consist of four Committee Members and a chair.
