This sourcebook of legal research course materials is a compilation of materials used for legal research instruction by members of the Academic Law Libraries Special Interest Section (ALL-SIS) of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). The goals of this sourcebook are:
- To make syllabi, course materials and research problems available to members of AALL for use in teaching and training
- To stimulate the creation of new legal research courses and new methods for teaching legal research
- To support legal research training programs in non-academic law libraries
The materials are organized in three categories: (1) Course Descriptions, Syllabi and Evaluations, (2) Lecture Handouts and Outlines, and (3) Course Assignments, Exercises and Problems.
The compilation of sourcebook materials is the product of the ALL-SIS Legal Research Committee. Please direct any suggestions or submissions for this website to Jennifer Murray.
