November 20, 1997
The new AALL Directory and Handbook 1997-1998 was mailed at the beginning of this month, and most members will have received their copies by now. The Directory is mailed Book Rate, so the Post Office may still be handling a few; if you don't have your copy by the beginning of next week (i.e., November 24) please call AALL HQ and request that a replacement copy be sent.
As in years past, AALL is grateful to CCH Incorporated for its support with the printing and mailing of this publication.
The release of a new edition of the AALL Directory and Handbook always inspires members to check and update their address/contact information. (Please remember that the cut-off date for information for the new Directory was June 1, 1997.) Kate Kasprzyk, AALL's Member Services Coordinator, is processing these updates promptly, and members who have recently submitted changes are urged to double-check their information with the online member database at AALLNET (http://www.aallnet.org).
If you are using the hard-copy Directory and are having difficulty contacting a member, please either check the latest listing on AALLNET or call Headquarters (any member of the staff can assist you to verify member information).
