Robert L. Oakley, Vice President/President-Elect of AALL, has announced the Leadership Team for the 2001 Annual Meeting and Conference. This Meeting, AALL's 94th, will be held July 14-19, 2001, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kathie Sullivan has agreed to chair the Annual Meeting Program Selection Committee, and Patricia Cummings and Marvin Anderson will be the co-chairs of the Local Advisory Committee.

"I'm really excited to be working with this team," Oakley said. "It's a high-energy group with lots of creative ideas and enthusiasm for making the Minneapolis meeting both fun and rewarding for our members."

Kathie Sullivan is the Reference Librarian at Downs Rachlin & Martin in Burlington, Vermont. She is currently the Chair of the Private Law Libraries Special Interest Section and brings several years of experience in successful program planning to this new responsibility: as chair of the Association of Law Libraries of Upstate New York (ALLUNY) annual meetings, co-chair of the Third Northeast Regional Meeting, and as a member of the AALL Annual Meeting Program Selection Committee in 1999. She has served the Association in many other capacities in the past and is eager to take on this new challenge.

Pat Cummings is Manager of Research Services at Leonard Street and Deinard in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is Vice President/President-Elect of the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries (MALL) and is already hard at work on the 2001 AALL Annual Meeting, appointing subcommittees and exploring logistics in Minneapolis.

Marvin Anderson is the State Law Librarian of Minnesota. He is the 1999 recipient of the Spirit of Law Librarianship Award for his work organizing a reading program for disadvantaged youths. Marvin has lots of great ideas about having a fun time in the Twin Cities, and, in particular, he is already scouting around for a fantastic band for the Closing Banquet.
