The American Association of Law Libraries wishes to ensure that high quality programs are available to its members. To this end, the AALL Professional Development Committee has developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to identify and attract the highest caliber program presenters available.

The Request for Proposal Process is designed to provide members and others the opportunity to present programs through a fair and open process. It may also contribute to the generation of new programming ideas and help to refine upcoming programs.

The Professional Development Committee is currently seeking responses to RFPs to develop and present programs on: Managing Technical Services; Law for the non JD; Collections and Acquisitions Management; and Boot Camp for Teachers of Electronic Research

These are four separate RFPs and vary in program specifics and length. To review any of these RFPs visit AALLNET at http://www.aallnet.org/prodev/rfp.asp . Click on the topic you are interested in and you will be given specifics.

Proposals need to be received by January 31, 2000. We encourage anyone who is interested to respond. If you have any questions, please contact Mary
