Chicago, July 12, 2000 – The American Association of Law Libraries is pleased to announce a partnership with law.com. Law.com will provide in-depth, original coverage of "Gateways to Leadership", AALL's Annual Meeting and Conference, in Philadelphia, July 15 - 20, 2000. Law.com will also staff the law.com/AALL co-branded bookstore at the Conference.
Law.com is also launching a channel with content tailored specifically to the nation's law librarians. For the first time, detailed daily coverage of the AALL Conference will be available online by visiting the law librarian channel at http://www.law.com/professionals/lawlibrarians.html. Law.com's executive editor of legal news, Tony Aarons, will be on site conducting interviews and covering many of the Conference's workshops and programs. Aarons will write stories and features that will be posted daily on the law.com site for the duration of the Conference.
Law.com and AALL are working together to develop a co-branded virtual bookstore offering AALL products -- such as the Biennial Salary Survey and the Universal Citation Guide -- through the online law.com store. AALL and law.com will also work together to develop online seminars for law librarians later this year.
