The Professional Development Committee is currently seeking responses to a Request for Proposal to develop and present a one-day program on negotiating skills for librarians. The Request for Proposal, along with information on how to respond to an RFP, can be found on AALLNET at http://www.aallnet.org/prodev/rfp.asp

Responses MUST be received by December 15, 2000. All who are interested are invited to respond. If you have questions or need further information, please contact Mary Jawgiel, AALL Education Manager, at (312) 939-4764, ex. 24.

The American Association of Law Libraries wishes to insure that high quality programs are available to its members. To this end, the AALL Professional Development Committee has developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to identify and attract the highest caliber program presenters available.

The Request for Proposal Process is designed to provide members and others the opportunity to present programs through a fair and open process. It may also contribute to the generation of new programming ideas and help to refine upcoming programs.
