Register Your Chapter VIPs for the 2001 AALL Annual Meeting by June 1
The AALL Annual Meeting Chapter VIP Program offers an excellent opportunity to educate colleagues from the library, academic, court, firm, publishing, and government communities about AALL and about law librarianship. Through this program, each Chapter may invite two guests to the Annual Meeting and Conference. This year's event, 2001: New Realities, New Roles, takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 14-19.
Click on http://www.aallnet.org/chapter/vipman.asp. This will lead you to Resources for Chapter Leadership and the Chapter VIP Registration Form. The site provides helpful information on the benefits of participating in the Chapter VIP Program, tips on how to select VIPs, frequently asked questions, and sample invitations.
Complete all sections of the registration form and send it to Kim Rundle, Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, American Association of Law Libraries, 53 W. Jackson Blvd., Suite 940, Chicago, IL 60604; 312.939.4764, x15; fax: 312.431.1097.
The deadline for submitting Chapter VIP registration forms is June 1. A separate form should be submitted for each VIP.
The information submitted on the registration form is used to create the contact list for future mailings, such as the Preliminary Program, invitations to events, and to generate name badges.
If your chapter is unable to participate this year, please check the appropriate place on the form and return it to Kim Rundle.
