Members of the Private Law Libraries Special Interest Section are eligible for the PLL SIS Travel Grant to assist attendees with the costs of traveling to and from the American Association of Law Libraries Annual Meeting.

The PLL SIS will select recipients that hold promise of future involvement in AALL and, especially, with the PLL SIS.

Applicants must be members of the PLL SIS at the time of application. Prior PLL SIS grant recipients will be considered. However, first-time applicants will be given priority. Completed applications must be postmarked, faxed or e-mailed by May 1. Late applications may be considered at the discretion of the Committee. Application forms are available at http://www.aallnet.org/sis/pllsis/commgrp/travelgrant.html.

The PLL SIS was established in 1977 to improve the quality and service of private law libraries by emphasizing their goals, needs and special interests and to represent its members' interests and concerns within AALL. Today the group is the largest Special Interest Section of AALL, with a membership of more than 1,600 firm, corporate and independent law librarians.
