Minneapolis is a favorite city for restaurants! And AALL will help you take advantage of the city's diverse culinary landscape when you attend the AALL Annual Meeting July 14 to 19.
Refer to your personal Restaurant Guide in your meeting registration packet to learn more about the city's various dining options. The Restaurant Guide will tantalize you with "Eat Street" restaurants, coffee shops, ethnic eateries, museum restaurants, and urbane and eclectic dining in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Stillwater. More information about restaurants in the Twin Cities is available at http://twincities.com/entertainment/dining/.
Looking for a group event? The Local Advisory Committee's Subcommittee for Hospitality will host Dine Arounds, a guided excursion to some of the local-area restaurants. The event will take place on Tuesday evening, July 17, and will feature visits to the Rock Bottom Brew Pub, Brasserie Zinc, Buca di Beppo and Café Un Deux Trois. Members may sign up for the Dine Arounds at the Hospitality Booth. Members of the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries will guide parties to their Dine Around choices.
A restaurant booth sponsored by the Greater Minneapolis Convention & Visitors Association will also assist AALL members with dining selections. The staffed booth will provide copies of restaurant menus and will make reservations for prospective diners.
For more information on dining choices, the Dine Arounds event and kid friendly restaurants, visit the Local Advisory Committee Web site at www.aallnet.org/events/local01/necn.htm.
