Santa Clara University's Heafey Law Library and Stanford University's Robert Crown Law Library are the recipients of the 2001 American Association of Law Libraries Law Library Publications Awards.

Heafey Law Library received the print award for its ClaraNet postcard series, which publicized the Santa Clara University Law School intranet and electronic reserve and course page system. Andrew Gurthet, director of law technology and academic computing, wrote the postcards.

Robert Crown Law Library received the nonprint award for its Election 2000 Web site, http://election2000.stanford.edu/, which provided links to the various legal proceedings associated with the close 2000 U.S. election.

Established in 1997, the Law Library Publication Award honors achievement in creating in-house, user-oriented library materials that are outstanding in quality and significance. Entries are judged on quality, creativity and usefulness, rather than the magnitude of the project. Both print and nonprint publications are recognized

The awards will be presented during the 94th AALL Annual Meeting and Conference at the Association Luncheon July 16 in Minneapolis.
