The votes are in. Four members were elected to the AALL Executive Board in this year's Association elections.

Janis L. Johnston, director of the law library and associate professor of law at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, was elected vice-president/president-elect. Johnston will serve as vice-president/president-elect in 2002-2003. She will then assume the presidency at the conclusion of the 2003 Annual Meeting in Seattle.

Catherine Lemann, associate director of the Law Library of Louisiana, was elected secretary for a three-year term.

Ann T. Fessenden, circuit librarian of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and Nina Platt, director of library services at Faegre & Benson LLP, were elected to three-year terms as members of the Executive Board.

AALL Headquarters received 1,969 ballots by the election deadline of April 30, exceeding the number of returns since 1998. Members of the Chicago Association of Law Libraries tallied the ballots.
