November 21, 2002
As AALL gears up to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2006, one of the first things the Association needs is an attention-getting slogan for its official centennial logo. So the Centennial Celebration Committee invites all AALL members to enter the AALL Centennial Slogan contest -- help the committee come up with the ideal words that express the significance of the Association’s 100 years of existence.
The Centennial Slogan Contest has a few rules: (1) Simply send us a brief slogan -- or several if you wish -- that includes the name of the Association and some indication of the centennial occasion no later than Dec. 20, 2002. (2) Include your name, institution or firm, address, phone number, fax, and e-mail address.
The winning slogan will be incorporated into the AALL centennial logo, which will be created by a professional designer. The writer of the winning slogan will be recognized and will receive one of the many commemorative items that will bear the logo and slogan.
