Check out what AALL’s candidates for vice president/president-elect had to say on some of the most pressing issues law libraries face today.
Timothy L. Coggins and Victoria K. (Tory) Trotta shared their views on the direction and evolving nature of the law library profession in an interview posted on AALL’s Web site. They talked about the important issues law librarians will face in the next five years, such as providing legal information in a timely and efficient manner and securing adequate resources for AALL to provide education and training. Coggins and Trotta examined how to promote law librarianship as a viable career choice to students as well. They also explained how they work with legal researchers who tend to rely exclusively on online resources.
