Joseph L. Andrews Bibliographical Award

Description:

The Joseph L. Andrews Bibliographical Award recognizes a significant contribution to legal bibliographical literature. The work may be a book, pamphlet, periodical contribution or publication in some other form. A nominated work shall be measured by its creative, evaluative elements and the extent to which judgment was a factor in its formation. The term 'legal bibliographical literature' is meant to be broadly defined and should not be limited by an author's use or nonuse of the term 'bibliography' in the title of the work. To make a nomination for the Joseph L. Andrews Award, please provide as complete a description as possible; it is not necessary to submit a copy of the work. Only works published during the 2009 calendar year will be eligible for consideration. The Award is not limited to publications prepared by law librarians or AALL members. The Award is a certificate issued by the American Association of Law Libraries. The Award is presented during the AALL Annual Meeting. The Award winning title will be displayed at a booth at the AALL Annual Meeting.

Application Information:

The deadline for nominations is February 1 of each year. Send four copies of the nominations, including copies of the nominated works for the award to Subcommittee Chair:
