DESCRIPTION: Cost recovery of online research expense is expected in most firms but not always understood by the librarians or administrators who seek to recover those costs. This session will cover the 5 components that make up a cost recovery program including budget, usage reporting tools, disbursement management, tracking progress and communicating to firm leaders.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Participants will be prepared to plan a basic cost recovery program. Participants will be equipped to compare online information usage reporting tools.
