Our March meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at noon
at John Marshall Law School, at 1422 West Peachtree St. NW.
The topic: dealing with workplace stress and difficult co-workers. There will be a panel of three speakers:
Dr. Sue Matthews -- licensed psychologist working in the field for more than 25 years. She currently splits her time between private practice and Emory's Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). Her bio states that "her areas of expertise include: assisting with Stress and Anxiety Issues, Mindfulness Practices for Work and Daily Life, Coping with Grief and Loss, and Relationship Concerns."
Thomas Sneed -- head of the research and electronic services at Emory's MacMillan Law Library.
Felicity Walsh -- head of access and student services at MacMillan Law Library.
Thomas and Felicity (along with Louella Randall) presented the topic "Why Can't I Just Fire These People? A Discussion of Best Managerial Practices in the Face of Difficult Situations" at SEAALL last year.
