The University of North Texas School of Library and Information Sciences - Georgia Cohort MLS Program is beginning in September 2008. Through this outstanding program, students can earn a masters degree by participating in two four-day institutes (August 29 - September 1, 2008 and January 16 - 19, 2009), with the remainder of the instruction via the web. Valdosta State's MLIS program has also recently received ALA accreditation, and information on its program can be found here.
