Greetings ALLA Members,

Please join us for our annual May meeting and luncheon. It will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta at 11:45am. Our Special AALL Executive Board guest is Greg Lambert.

Lambert’s bio:
Greg Lambert is the Director of Library & Research Services at Jackson Walker LLP. Besides managing the library and research teams, Greg works as a liaison between many departments on issues of business development, competitive intelligence, knowledge management, and firm wide initiatives. Before joining Jackson Walker, he was at King & Spalding for over eight years where he created many competitive intelligence and business development initiatives and processes. Greg has also worked as a project manager with AMIGOS Library Services working with the University of Houston on a $34.5 million FEMA project to rebuild the law library collection after Tropical Storm Allison, and he was the library and information director at the Oklahoma Supreme Court where he was responsible for the court's online research tool OSCN (www.oscn.net). Greg has presented at national library, records, and competitive intelligence functions and is a current member of the AALL Executive Board as well as the past president of the SLA Texas Chapter. In 2008 he was awarded the Excellence in Marketing for "Best Use of Technology" from AALL and Thomson Reuters, and his blog, 3 Geeks and a Law Blog has received numerous awards including being on the ABA Blawg 100 for five years in a row. Greg received his BA from Cameron University, and his Masters in Library Science and JD from the University of Oklahoma and can be found on:
