PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

I was very delighted to have been asked to write a president's message. Actually, to be honest, I was terrified. I asked myself, "What am I going to write about?" Well, I decided that the theme of this message should be about the members and their help in accomplishing the goals I set out in my term as President. I will make this brief. It is not surprising that I am a part of an association of remarkable people. I have been a member of the association since 1994. I have been on practically every committee. The committee's and the support of the members is what makes this a great association.

A brief summary of what has occurred this year:

(1) 2003 ALLA newsletter

(2) A positive dues increase

(3) Attendance has increased at the meetings

(4) Increased volunteerism

Once again, thank you for allowing me to serve you this year. In addition, I appreciate any and all feedback.
