Welcome to the Atlanta Law Libraries
Association website. This site is
maintained to provide information about
upcoming meetings, Atlanta area law
library related employment
opportunities, and association news.
Currently, the association has grown to
over 200 active members. Most of the
members are affiliated with nationally
recognized law firms, local law schools,
Georgia county courts, the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the 11th Circuit,
and vendors that cater to the legal
profession. Our members also volunteer
their time and expertise while serving
on committees.
The association meets the second Tuesday
of each month, from September thru May.
Monthly meetings typically include
speakers offering presentations and
discussions on topics aimed at
the continuing education needs of the
membership. Law librarianship is a
diverse and dynamic profession, thus
every effort is made to identify
relevant topics that will attract a
large audience.
In closing, I would like to say that the
association welcomes suggestions for
future presentations, articles geared
towards the law library field, meeting
sponsorship from vendors, and feedback
about the website. Continuous
improvement is very important to ensure
continued success. With all of this
