The Community Services Committee will collect gifts for the Anti-Cruelty Society at the Joint CALL / SLA-IL Business Meeting on January 13


The Anti-Cruelty's Wish List includes:

  • Towels (new or used)
  • Pens and pencils
  • Dog Toys (hard rubber)
  • Cat toys (plastic or rubber)
  • Ping Pong balls
  • Tennis balls
  • Beef or Chicken flavor baby food
  • Canned dog or cat food
  • 8.5" x 11" white copy paper
  • Polaroid 600 film

The Anti-Cruelty Society is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization; as such, your gift may be tax deductible as allowed by law. 

The Anti-Cruelty Society (SPCA of Illinois)is a private, not-for-profit humane society. We receive no federal, state, or city funding.

Monetary donations made be made online via credit card at www.anticruelty.org .  We will also be accepting donations at the January meeting.  If you desire a receipt for tax purposes, please make a check payable to Anti-Cruelty Society and note that you are in need of a receipt.  You may do so by putting the check in a marked envelope or attach a note to your check.  We will not be able to provide you with a receipt at the meeting for monetary donations.  These will come from the Anti-Cruelty Society.
