The Community Service Committee will be collecting any type of paperback book for Chicago Books to Women in Prison. Any subject--Fiction or non-fiction. All we ask is that the books be in paperback format since most prisons won't allow inmates to have hardback books. For more information about the organization, go to: http://chicagobwp.org/

The Community Services Committee will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Of particular need are items high in protein, such as canned meats, beef stew, chili and peanut butter. Also needed are canned vegetables and fruits, rice, pasta and cereal.
