Brown Bag Lunch Discussion at AALL Annual Meeting

Topic: Rebalancing Your Collection: Print or Electronic or Both?

Location:Convention Center WCC 143 B (subject to change)

Time:12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Bring your own lunch & drink)

How do you learn best? For many of us, learning comes easiest from the informal conversations with colleagues who live in different cities and work in different types of libraries and yet are faced with conditions and challenges similar to our own.

Please join other law librarians for a lively and informative disccusion about how we are developing our collections to meet the information requirements of tomorrow. We'll discuss our concerns, from budget reductions and space constraints to changing customer preferences and research needs. And, we'll share our successes so that one library's solution can be used to help others grappling with the same problems.

Librarians from all library types are encourages to attend. We promise no PowerPoint slides and no long speeches - just enthusiastic conversation, laughter and, for those in need, shoulders to cry on.

The discussion will be facilitated by:
Ruth Bridges, Firmwide Manager, Library and Research Services, Schiff Hardin LLP
Kerry Skinner, Acquisitions Librarian, Arizona State University
Joan Axelroth, Library Consultant, Axelroth and Associates.

RSVP: Ruth Bridges, rbridges@schiffhardin.com or 312-258-4701
