BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Merle Slyhoff is the Document Delivery and Auxiliary Services Librarian at the Biddle Law Library of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She has been at Biddle since 1978, and has worked in both technical services and public services. During this time she has had the opportunity to create and develop a number of departments and operations.

Merle is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the American Library Association, and has held elected and appointed positions in both organizations. She is presently serving on the AALL Executive Board. She has published in the areas of media and document delivery, and teaches a course at the University of Pennsylvania Law School on Documentaries and the Law. Merle has her BA from Rutgers University, and her MSLS from Drexel University.
