ORALL invites you to the 56 th Annual Meeting in downtown Indianapolis October 12-14, 2005 ! Adapting to Change, Adopting New Strategies: “Racing into the Future” is this year’s conference theme. We are fortunate to have members from the Chicago Association of Law Libraries (CALL) joining us to participate in the conference.
The Education Committee has planned a wonderful schedule of speakers and programs for our professional development (including local library tours (pdf)). The Local Arrangements Committee has taken care of the other details such as meals and entertainment. The conference hotel(pdf) is the beautiful downtown Hyatt Regency connected by enclosed walkway to Circle Center Mall.
Wednesday night’s Opening Reception is at the Indiana State Library’s recently restored Great Hall with entertainment by the renowned Indianapolis Men’s Chorus (pdf) . Comedysportz (pdf) improvisational troupe will tickle your funny bone during the Closing Banquet. Thursday night after dinner is open for walks along the canal paths, socializing in the city, or shopping. Start making your plans now! Consider extending your visit to see what downtown Indianapolis has to offer. We look forward to seeing you in October! Best wishes, Miriam Murphy and Debra Denslaw
