The Community Services Committee is sponsoring a school supply drive to benefit Chicago Public School's Homeless Education Program (http://www.oism.cps.k12.il.us/hep.shtml). The supplies we collect will provide these students with age and grade appropriate materials needed to complete their schoolwork. Please bring any of the items on the below list to the September meeting, or contact Stephanie Crawford, 312-906-5642, scrawford@kentlaw.edu.

  • Erasers
  • Pencil Sharpener
  • Wide-rule Loose Notebook Paper
  • Box of Crayons
  • Pack of Colored Pencils
  • Two-Pocket folders
  • Box of Tissue
  • Roll of Paper
  • Towels
  • Ruler
  • Small Pencil Case
  • Pair of Scissors (Blunt for younger students)
  • School Glue
  • Glue Stick
  • Scotch Tape
  • Highlighters
  • Backpack
            

In Addition for Older Students

  • Pens (Black or blue ink)
  • Colored Markers
  • College-rule Loose Notebook Paper
  • Book Covers for all Textbooks
  • Spiral Notebooks
  • Calculator
  • Graph paper
 

School Uniform

  • White shirt or blouse -- various sizes
  • Black or navy blue pants -- various sizes
