Business & Corporations:

• CorporateInformation Research companies, country industries, by country, company extensions (such as Gmbh), currency rates, states, and world news.
• The Center for Corporate Law from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Contains the text of the Securities Act of 1933 and 1934, plus regulations. Disclaimer states that it may not be up to date. However, cites to other parts of the Acts or USC sections are hyperlinked to cited section.
• Hoover's Company Profiles contains snapshots of the largest public and private companies, plus links (if they exist) to company home pages. More complete profiles may be purchased from Hoover's or read in the Hoover's Handbooks located in the Law Library.
• International Chamber of Commerce has information about the ICC, global business issues, committees, conferences and the text to the ICC Rules of Arbitration.
• Standard Industrial Code (SIC) from the Occupational Health & Safety Administration. You can choose between searching the code or looking at an expanded table of contents from the manual (1987 version.) Or, you can check the Global Listings from the Vancouver (Canada) webpage.
• Uniform Laws Commissioners Drafts from the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. Has the text of various model drafts, uniform laws, and the Uniform Commercial Code.
• Uniform Business & Financial Laws from the Legal Information Institute from Cornell Law School. Contains a long list of uniform laws and links to the text of the laws.

Computer Virus Information Pages

• CIAC from the Department of Energy. "CIAC is the U.S. Department of Energy's Computer Incident Advisory Capability. Established in 1989, CIAC provides computer security services to employees and contractors of the United States Department of Energy. CIAC is an element of the Computer Security Technology Center (CSTC) and is located at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. " (quoted from their opening page) Very authoritative site.
• Symantec AntiVirus Research Center From the makers of Norton AntiVirus and Norton Utilities. Pretty good site to look up information on virus and hoaxes, not very pushy about selling their products either.
• Virus Myths Homepage Page maintained by Rob Rosenberger. Lists all sorts of computer hoaxes, both current and historical. Informative and fun.
