HALL Committee Guidelines
HALL Monthly Meeting Notices, R.S.V.P. & Payment Guidelines
I . Monthly meeting notices will be sent to each HALL member in good standing. The monthly meeting notice will state a deadline by which R.S.V.P.'s must be made by telephone/mail to the Treasurer.
2. Anyone who wishes to attend a meeting must RSVP by the deadline. If someone has not R.S. V.P.'d by the deadline, they will not be allowed to attend. If purchasing lunch is optional, those not purchasing lunch are not required to R.S.V.P.; however, they are strongly encouraged to do so.
3. Anyone who R.S.V.P.'s for a meeting is obligated to pay even if she/he cannot attend. A member who has R.S.V.P.'d but is unable to attend may send a substitute in that member's place subject to the approval of the Treasurer.
4. Payment must be made by check. The check stub must list the name of those people covered, or the monthly meeting notice form listing all names must be attached to the check. Cash payment cannot be accepted.

Placement Committee Procedures
1. For Employers:
Employers who would like to advertise a job opening are to send to the committee a typed announcement detailing the job description, requirements, salary, and method of contact for the applicants. The chair of the committee will then duplicate the announcement and send a copy to all individuals who have registered with the Placement Committee. It is the responsibility of the applicants to contact the employer in whatever manner has been specified in the announcement.
2. For Applicants:
Any person interested in receiving copies of job announcements should send to the committee as many self-addressed, stamped envelopes as she/he desires. As soon as the committee receives a job announcement, the chair will send a copy to each person registered. Applicants can choose to receive all announcements, only those that require masters degrees, or only those that do not require masters degrees.
