Purpose

To communicate with government representatives and keeps the membership informed about developments affecting law libraries.

Responsibilities

  • Review and track any pending local legislation that may affect law libraries. Response to pending national legislation can be coordinated with AALL efforts.

Procedures

  • If a particular response is recommended, draft proposal for review by the Board.
  • Subscribe to AALL legislative alert listserv.
