Equal Opportunity Employer; Competitive salary and benefits package. Job Description: The New York Law Institute is currently recruiting for a Reference Librarian/Social Media Coordinator. This critical reference position provides legal, business, and general information services to NYLI’s members using print and electronic resources. The Reference Librarian also participates in website and social media outreach efforts such as regular blogging and tweeting, building an online community on websites such as Facebook and Twitter, etc. as well as tracking sentiment and traffic online. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Executive Director and the Director of Information Technology to support the mission of The New York Law Institute. Job & Educational Requirements: Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth legal and non-legal reference and research services using print and electronic resources as well as a proficiency with social media and Web-based technologies.
