LLAM Lunch & Learn:

Fastcase as a Tool for Managing
Legal Research Overhead Costs
(Lunch provided)

Lawyers are increasingly using online sources for their legal research, but clients are
less willing to pay the costs of this research. Average legal research cost recovery is
about 70% ‐ with the remaining costs being charged against library budgets. Similarly,
academic, public, and court libraries are under greater budget pressure than ever.
Today, more than 380,000 lawyers have a Fastcase subscription to manage their
overhead – and every member of the Maryland State Bar Association has free access
to Fastcase as a member benefit. Find out how your firm can save tens (or hundreds)
of thousands of dollars using Fastcase to manage the costs of nonbillable research.

Please join us for lunch with Fastcase CEO Ed Walters
on Wed., Sept. 30, 2009 at 12:30 p.m.
at Tydings & Rosenberg, 100 E. Pratt Street in Baltimore
