Librarian and Information Technology Specialist

Location: Cook & Franke, S.C. 660 E. Mason St. Milwaukee, WI 53202

Responsible for:

  • Maintaining materials in law library including budgeting, ordering resource materials and maintaining the library catalog.
  • Research including location of resource materials and other research assignments as well as training employees in legal research techniques.
  • Maintaining a variety of databases including the attorney directories, docketing programs and oversight of records and storage.

Education/Experience Required:

Associate degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school and 2-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; or a 4 year degree in library or information technology and/or information sciences.  The successful candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis and Inmagic DB/Textworks.
