Since 1999, the Committee has prepared a variety of marketing materials, such as an all-purpose LLOPS brochure and LLOPS bookmarks, which list useful local web sites on the back. The Committee has organized LLOPS exhibits at the Washington State Bar Association’s “Celebration 2000” in Spokane, as well as the WSBA’s “Law Office EXPO, Management and Technology Institute” in Seattle, which was co-sponsored by the Association of Legal Administrators, Puget Sound Chapter. For the latter, the Committee also prepared and distributed a flyer entitled “Do You Need to Hire A Law Librarian?”.
The Committee also reaches out to students interested in law librarianship with special LLOPS flyer that is usually distributed at the University of Washington’s annual Student Resume Night.
Print copies of LLOPS marketing materials are available from the Marketing Committee. Or you can download Word or Pagemaker files for the materials, then print them out yourself or take the files to a printer.
