Transportation and Parking Information

If traveling by air

Taxi or shuttle from Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport to the Cosmopolitan Hotel

AAA Car Service (479-644-8469): $45 for one passenger, $60 total for 2 or more.

C.T.S. (479-841-9813): $39 for one passenger, $25 each for 2 or more passengers.

Dynasty (800-521-0097): Taxi approximately $45-55 for one passenger, plus $5 for each additional passenger.

Express Shuttle (866-535-0127): $42 for one passenger, $32 each for two passengers, $28 each for 3 passengers, and $25 each for 4 or more passengers.

NWA Taxi (479-756-8294): $55 for one passenger, plus $5 for each additional passenger.

Pinnacle Limo & Car Service (479-205-0505): $50 for one passenger, plus $10 for each additional passenger.

Express Shuttle has a desk in the baggage claim area of the airport.  The other transportation companies may or may not have vehicles waiting in front of the airport.  If you wish to use a specific company other than Express Shuttle, it is recommended that you call the company in advance with your arrival time.

If driving to the conference

Directions from the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) to Fayetteville

1.       Head west on Airport Boulevard (1.5 miles)

2.       Turn left at Healing Springs Road (3.8 miles)

3.       Turn right at N. Main Street (0.4 miles)

4.       Turn left at E. Lowell Avenue (4.6 miles)

5.       Turn right to merge onto I-540 (10.8 miles)

6.       Continue to Exit 62 and follow directions below

 

Directions from Interstate 540 to the Cosmopolitan Hotel

Get off I-540 at Exit 62.  For those coming from the north of Fayetteville, the exit lane merges with S. Shiloh Drive.  At the first light turn left onto Sixth Street.  For those coming from the south of Fayetteville, the exit lane merges with S. Futrall Drive.  Turn left on to S. Futrall Drive then at the first light, turn right onto Sixth Street.  Drive just under 2 miles on Sixth Street.  Turn left onto School Ave. (Highway 71).  Highway 71 will become S. College Avenue.  From S. College, turn left onto E. Meadow Street, drive a little more than halfway down the block, and turn left into the hotel parking lot.  The hotel is on the end of the block at 70 N. East Ave.

Directions from Interstate 540 to the Holiday Inn Express

If you’re traveling south, take Exit 64 off I-540 and turn right onto Wedington Drive.  From the north-bound lanes, take Exit 64 and turn left onto Wedington Drive.  From Wedington, turn right onto N. Shiloh Drive.  The hotel is at 1251 N. Shiloh Drive.

Directions from the Holiday Inn Express to the Cosmopolitan Hotel

Drive east on Wedington Drive and cross N. Garland Avenue.  At Garland, Wedington will become North Street.  Continue uphill and turn right onto N. College Avenue.  From College, turn right onto E. Meadow Street.  The entrance to the parking lot is on the left side of the street, a little more than halfway down the block.  The Cosmopolitan Hotel is at 70 N. East Avenue, at the end of the block.  

 

Directions to the law school

From the Conference Hotel

Head north on N. East Avenue.  Turn left onto Dickson Street.  Turn right onto Arkansas Avenue.  Turn left onto W. Maple Street.  The law school is about half a mile down Maple Street.  The total distance from the Cosmopolitan to the law school is a little less than one and a half miles.  If you plan to walk to or from the law school, please bear in mind that Fayetteville is very hilly.

From the Holiday Inn Express

Drive east on Wedington Drive.  Turn right onto N. Garland Avenue.  Stay in the left lane, and turn left onto Maple Street.  The law school will be the first building on the right side of Maple Street.  The total distance from the Holiday Inn to the law school is a little less than two and a half miles.
