St. Paul Branch Librarian - U.S. Courts Library (Posted 5/5)

The U.S. Courts Library serves all federal judges in Minnesota. St. Paul and Minneapolis libraries are branches of the U.S. Court of Appeals library system. The St. Paul Branch is currently in temporary quarters but will be moving back to permanent space in September. Primary responsibilities include providing online and face-to-face reference service, promoting library services, handling interlibrary loan and collection development, supporting chambers collections, supervising a part-time technician and overseeing library management, organization and maintenance.

Required: M.L.S., or J.D. with 1 year law library experience, excellent communication and computer skills, can work both independently and as a team member, able to prioritize and meet deadlines, accurate with attention to detail. Desirable: web page experience and knowledge of space planning and library moves.

Minimum starting salary range: $45,981 - $57,503. Position is available in June 2008.
