LAC seeks an experienced Law Librarian for a part-time, temporary position at an international law firm located in downtown Los Angeles. This position will be working part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week, and is expected to begin in mid-March and continue for approximately 4 months. Candidates must have previous experience working for a law firm or in a law library as well as excellent research and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Library or Information Science (MLS/MLIS) strongly preferred or equivalent experience;
  
• Previous experience working in a law library or law firm is required;
  
• Excellent legal and business research skills and experience using a variety of databases including: Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, Factiva, Bloomberg, etc.
  
• Ability to multi-task and interact with all types of personnel in a professional manner;
