LAC-GROUP is in need or 3-6 Japanese Catalogers for a special project at a major university in the metro Los Angeles area working on cataloging the Universities’ archives including books, journals, manuscripts, etc. We will accept those catalogers who can work onsite or have the ability to work remotely. If work is to be done remotely the prospective candidate must have the necessary hardware to complete their assignments.

We expect this project to proceed within the near future and the assignment will last one year.

REQUIREMENTS;

• Previous cataloging experience for at least 2-3 years, both original and copy cataloging.
  
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience cataloging Japanese library records.
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Reliability and ability to complete cataloging assignments on time and error free.
