Global law firm has an opening for a Research Librarian in its Palo Alto office to work from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Research Librarian will provide high-level and customized research services to all attorneys, paralegals and technical advisors in the firm's Palo Alto office and support other locations as needed as well as be responsible for all aspects of the library in Palo Alto. Proficient in fee based print and online resources in the areas of law, business, medicine, science and other subjects. The Research Librarian will also provide in-house training on the use of on-line and print resources.

Qualified candidates should possess a M.L.S. or M. S. in L.I.S. with 3-5 years of law firm library reference experience and thorough knowledge of professional principles and practices of library science. Research experience in intellectual property is highly desirable as well as familiarity with the areas of litigation and corporate law. Candidates should also possess expert skills in searching online research databases and in the use of spreadsheets and word processing applications.
