Salary open DOQ. Riverside ranks seventh in size of the State’s 58 county law library system. Its Main Library collection in Riverside, Desert Branch collection in Indio, and Temecula Public Library’s Law Resources collection consist of just over 90,000 volumes. In addition to providing legal research materials, the Law Library also serves as an educational resource for the community and the Bar. The Law Library is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees made up of community judges and attorneys. The current budget is approximately $1.5 million with 9.5 FTE staff positions.

Desire a master’s degree in library/information science, a law degree or a master’s degree in business/public administration or a related field. Prefer experience as a Director or Assistant Director of a comparable county or university law library. Will ideally have strong supervisory and computer skills, as well as knowledge of facility management and development, and intergovernmental relations. California experience preferred, although candidates from all geographic areas will be considered.
