Under the general supervision of the Public Services Librarian, the Circulation Librarian supervises the Circulation and Course Reserve activities of the Law Library. Typical duties include planning, recommending and implementing proposals for developing a cohesive circulation services program, serving as the primary manager of the Library’s Millennium circulation subsystem, scheduling work shifts to provide for circulation desk coverage, keeping circulation statistics and missing book records, interpreting library access and circulation policies, resolving patron disputes, serving as a liaison between the library and journal editors, and serving on the collection development committee.

Requirements include a Master’s in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited school, law library work experience, a supervisory background, knowledge of Lexis and Westlaw, and strong interpersonal, research and written/verbal communication skills. Knowledge of HTML and web-authoring skills is desirable. Must be able to work early daytime hours.

This part-time opportunity offers an annual hiring range of $27,718-$31,683 commensurate with experience and an excellent fringe benefits package.
