Under the supervision of the Public Services Librarian, the Library Assistant IV plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Library's Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Department and performs a variety of complex paraprofessional tasks. You will serve as primary ILL administrator of OCLC's FirstSearch System, coordinate interlibrary loan/document delivery services, process borrowing/lending requests, verify citations, and perform a variety of other administrative duties.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, familiarity with the Library of Congress classification system, service orientation, good communication and interpersonal skills, and work experience in a library. Must be able to provide supervision to a student assistant, safely lift and transport materials between campus buildings, and have general knowledge of library procedures. Law library work experience is highly desirable, while familiarity with Innovative Interfaces integrated library system and with the OCLC FirstSearch interface is desirable.

This position offers a salary of $21,754 - $27,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications.
