Reference Librarian; Loyola Los Angeles Law School; Los Angeles

The William M. Rains Library at Loyola Los Angeles Law School has an opening for a Reference Librarian. Reporting to the Head of Reference/Foreign and International Law Librarian, the Reference Librarian will be responsible for providing high-quality information services to students, faculty and other library users. Duties include serving as liaisons to individual faculty, staffing the reference desk, and providing individual research consultations with students. Reference Librarians are offered extensive teaching opportunities including first year legal research, advanced and specialized legal research classes, and the Library's Prepare to Practice series.

Qualifications: Must be able to work as a member of a team; set priorities, meet deadlines, and work with a minimum of day-to-day supervision. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Demonstrable commitment to providing service to library users. Excellent analytical ability.

MLS and JD from accredited schools are required.
