The Placement Committee will be available to help coordinate your employment activities during the Annual Meeting in Raleigh, April 6-8, 2006. Be a Mentor or Mentee

The SEAALL Membership Committee is soliciting experienced or senior members to participate in a Mentor Program at the 2006 Annual Meeting. The Committee will match each seasoned member (Mentor) with a SEAALL newcomer (Mentee). There will be time at the Opening Reception in Raleigh for Mentors and Mentees to get together. The Mentor might also meet the new member for coffee, arrange to sit with the new member at a scheduled event, introduce him or her to other members, and generally give the newcomer any mutually-agreeable help or guidance.

Arts On Your Own

After a "down home" dinner on Friday evening, enjoy some upscale entertainment. We are calling this activity "Arts on Your Own."

You are invited to attend one of Raleigh's arts venues.

What's Happening in Raleigh Libraries?

You are invited to tour two downtown libraries on Thursday, April 6, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, exploring one library temporarily housed in a former bank and learning about changes made when a law firm library was recently downsized.

Progressive Academic Law Libraries Tour

Visit the law libraries of Duke University, North Carolina Central University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

When: Saturday, April 8th, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The tour includes bus transportation from the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel to all three libraries and return to the Sheraton. Transportation to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport can be arranged from any stop.
