            As this course is directed toward court law librarians, a strong emphasis was placed on the value of improving court operations by having law librarians take a more definitive leadership role within their court or court systems.

 The course outlined a variety of ways to provide law librarians with the added ability to balance collections and budgets to reflect both the new media and the needs of library users.  Through a series of exercises and group discussions, the course also provided the law librarians with the means to recognize individual strengths and supplement existing skills to move forward with a future plan for their libraries.

I would like to thank the SNELLA scholarship committee for their generous support.  I would not have been able to attend this enlightening and worthwhile course without their assistance.
