The Southwestern Association of Law Libraries is a regional chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries. Founded in 1958, SWALL facilitates contacts among professional law librarians, promotes law librarianship, and provides educational programs for members in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The Association meets twice a year -- once in the spring for a business meeting and educational program and once during the American Association of Law Libraries' annual summer convention.
