Privacy Rights
The 1948 Universal Declaration of
Human Rights provides in
Article 12:
No-one should be subjected to
arbitrary interference with
his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks on his honour or reputation. Everyone has the right to
the protection of the
law against such interferences or attacks
