LIPA Listserv

A listserv for announcements and for the exchange of preservation-related information is maintained on the AALLNet server. Those who wish to be added to the listserv should send email with the request to Margaret Maes, Executive Director.

LIPA, together with NELLCO and LLMC, is sponsoring a series of webinars in March and April 2010 on effective advocacy for the library. They will be presented by Mickey MacIntyre of realChange Partners and Libby Post of Communication Services. See the flyer for complete details and registration information.

Eight new members have joined in 2009/10, including the Department of Justice Library!

Summer 2009: The U.S. Supreme Court Library and the Law Library of Congress have joined LIPA. These are our first federal library members.

Janice Snyder Anderson and Rita Reusch have been elected to serve on LIPA's Board of Directors, to begin their two-year terms in July 2009. Keith Ann Stiverson, who will be serving her second year on the Board, will serve as Chair of the Board during 2009/2010.
