"Building a Development Environment"
We will step through how to install and configure Apache, PHP and MySQL on Windows XP. Apache is an industry standard web server, PHP is a mature and fast server-side scripting language, and MySQL is an open-source database.

"Taming CSS and JavaScript with Yahoo! and Prototype"
We will discuss the challenges developers face when considering browser inconsistencies, and how libraries such as Yahoo! and Prototype clear these things out of the way from the outset.
