Each branch of government produces distinct legal materials. The table below identifies the sources of law produced by the judicial, legislative, and executive branches of government along with related legal or government materials.

Within each category, the Committee has identified government websites that employ many of the criteria that we have established. We believe that these websites utilize many good practices in delivering their legal information to the Internet public.

This list of websites is dynamic. Websites evolve and Committee members continue to evaluate websites. Would you like to recommend a specific website for one of the categories below? Please fill out our site suggestion form.  If you discover a broken link, please notify a Committee member.
